Recently, my friend and I discussed something that engrossed my subconscious mind since the day it was conversed. She said that she realized something; that even though she has a lot of acquaintances, only a few of those deserve the “true friend” title.
Her epiphany shocked me a bit because besides the fact that it popped out of nowhere, it also is 100% true. I guess facts have that way of scaring us. Haha.
I have comprehended, through my friend’s statement, that I have met a lot of people and will meet lots more in the near future. Be it around the neighborhood, at SMCM, at FEU, or even in the World Wide Web, people will come and go in my life as natural as rain. However, most are only fair-weathered friends.
