It's presently August 12, 2007, a Sunday; part of the five-day vacation caused by the typhoons Chedeng and Dodong. I have been exposed to radiation, as my best friend had put it, for too long as I have both my cellphone and PC in front of me ever since last night. I have stayed up until 3am last night, chatting with old friends and tweaking my Friendster account.
In justification to this behavior of mine (Mind you, I haven't done this in a long time.), I would say that I am just making the most out of my 5-day vacation. Surely, when classes resume tomorrow, it's going to be a fast ride from then on to the periodical exams. Looking forward to it! LOL. As if. Fourth Year High School isn't exactly a good life. Yes, you're superior. Your teachers are dependent on you, giving you this feeling of importance. Lower levels respect you, somehow. And you feel cool because people look up on you.
However, lots of responsibilities go hand in hand with those privilages. Here are some of mine:
1. VP of section Generosity, touching ^_^
2. Shockingly the President of the Marian Music Ministry. Hard, let me tell you.3. believed to be my proudest accomplishment so far this year, News Editor of the Marian Bulletin.
4. Medical Officer of the CAT-I Unit, quite undeserving but very proud of it.
5. English Achiever. No comment.
6. friendships... quite torn on this subject. friend with history or friend with laughs?
7. the love department. Doing quite well but not feeling so well. Too many onlookers AND threats.
8. "ate" to siblings and younger friends. whew!9. College Applications AND College Entrance Exams. A bit exciting but very troubling.
hmmm... what do you think? haha. I, myself, am astonished at what I wrote. It just came out. Gawd, I really need to prioritize. Can I do this? Wah! I feel like I'm standing on the edge of a cliff, pacing myself for the fall, not knowing what will happen. Sigh. I just hope I don't die. I meant that figuratively, of course.
I don't know what lies ahead. I have no idea of what will become of this. One thing I'm quite sure of is that I begun this academic year with a good start. I hope, against all contradictories, that this marks off a great ending. Good luck everyone!
